Project realized in second year in group of three with the option Matter and context in the 3rd semester. Our intentions were to integrate into the site of the "friche du caillou" without necessarily disturbing the surroundings or creating a rupture with the environment.
Our project is built in length on two levels. A first level on the ground floor in contact with the ground which proposes a public place accessible to everyone which allows ephemeral installations. This space has the particularity of being punctuated by a forest of poles that energize the space and offer a second program within the same place, it is also a space for wandering.
The second level, which includes the dwellings, is located at 7m ( 22f and 9in ) from the ground and is connected by a ramp that borders the public space and creates a path that leads to a second semi-public square reserved solely for the inhabitants in the form of a common platform, bordered by a setback of vegetation.
The housing program gathers 13 dwellings including 1 T5 3 T4 1 T3 2 T2 5 T1 The access to the dwellings is mainly done at the level of the platform since all the dwellings except the T1 are in duplex. At the level of the dwellings we find a last shared space, it is about private terraces shared between two adjoining dwellings.
The goal is to create a village within the city, a set of houses where cohabitation and serene community life are the order of the day.
